Modoc County Behavioral Health has a F/T opening for a Specialist II ($2878-3674/mo.
DOE) or Specialist III ($$3086-3939/mo.
DOE).
Provides full range of behavioral health services, with primary responsibility as O/P substance use counselor.
Prefer certified counselor; will consider registered with State-approved certifying body, with experience.
Duties include assessments, crisis intervention, group/individual counseling, case mgmt.
, referrals, documentation in EHR.
Serves on rotation for on-call after-hours crisis services.
Minimum
Qualifications:
valid California Driver's License; 2 years SU counseling experience.
For Specialist II, AA Degree or equiv (additional 2 yrs exp may substitute for AA).
For Specialist III, BA or nursing license.
Required skills:
interpersonal communication, writing, computers, ability to work as a member of a team, meeting deadlines, ability to interact effectively w people of different social, economic and ethnic backgrounds.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
