The Position
Responsibilities:
:
Plans sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
:
May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
:
Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
:
Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques.
:
Develop new methods, tooling and machine designs for repetitive production equipment and processes.
:
Performs pre:
production runs and time studies to optimize efficiency and establish standard cost on new products.
:
Work with Purchasing to resolve vendor quality issues.
:
Along with Product Development, introduces new products and the tools to manufacture them.
Assists in establishing specifications and procedures under which the new products will be made.
:
Directs any special tests or limited production runs for standardization of the new product.
Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Engineering Additional
Qualifications:

Experience in Manufacturing Environment :
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing :
