The Lab Information Systems Analyst applies knowledge of hospital clinical and business functions to assess operations for implementation and integration of computer systems and services.
This position will serve in a lead role in the administration, implementation, build, development and maintenance of lab application systems.
Coordination with the Director, Supervisors, vendors and other hospital departments would be required as will the ability to use critical thinking, prioritize assignments and open issues.
Demonstration of excellent customer-service and physician orientation is a critical personal characteristic of this position.
Good technical experience and a demonstrated thorough knowledge of LAB practices and principles typically gained through licensure as a CLS.
A high aptitude for clinical informatics as well as an ability to conduct ongoing maintenance, programming, design, system enhancements and upgrades of assigned systems.
Experience with Sunquest LIS systems is required.
Previous healthcare computer system experience desirable.
Previous clinical experience and knowledge of hospital lab departmental operations is essential to the development and design of tools for staff.
Must be knowledgeable of new trends in lab information systems, and be able to apply data processing technology for the clinical and physician services areas.
CLS preferred, CA licensed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
