The Position
Responsibilities:

Inspect performance of equipment and tools to verify efficiency, investigate problems and initiate corrective action to ensure product quality and performance :
Ensure proper equipment is selected to obtain desired dimension and quality of parts.

Develop new techniques and define requirements for product, tooling and processes.

Coordinate design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material and planning.
:
Perform pre:
production runs and time studies to optimize efficiency and establish standard cost on new products.
Education and Experience Requirements:
:
BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related engineering discipline :
1
year(s) practicing project management in a team setting (including Capstone Projects) :
1
year(s) use of lathes and mills
Qualifications:
:
Practice with Espirit or other advanced platforms (Legacy) :
Exposure to both traditional and swiss machining :
Experience with high volume metallic parts manufacturing equipment.
:
Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills :
Ability to operate well with little direct supervision.
:
Thorough understanding and broad application of technical standards, principles, theories, and techniques.
