6/4/2014Job Description Are you looking for a direct hire opportunity to utilize your Maintenance Mechanic skills? Volt Workforce Solutions has just the position for you! We are currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Mechanic for a position in the Maysville area.
This would be a direct hire position working a day shift.
Essential Duties will be the following:
Ensures operations of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals ,manufacturer''s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operations; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Machine installs and repairs, maintenance and facilities repair, including electrical mechanical, welding, fabrication of special parts needed.

Job Requirements At least 3 years of pervious maintenance experience in manufacturing environment Pervious understanding of mechanical parts and tools Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions , short correspondence and memos Ability to write simple correspondence PLC programming knowledge Robotic skills knowledge Must be able to stand, bend, walk, push and lift items weighing at least 50 lbs.
