Annual California State University, Chico Department of Computer Science Faculty Positions The Department of Computer Science at California State University, Chico seeks applicants for one or more full-time, tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor.
This position to begin fall 2015.
The Department of Computer Science offers an ABET accredited bachelor's degree in Computer Science, an ABET accredited bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, and a master's degree in Computer Science.
It is in the College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Construction Management.

(by time of appointment) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field, the ability to teach a broad range of Computer Science and/or Computer Information Systems topics, and strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
The department focuses primarily on teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels but in addition to teaching, probationary tenure-track faculty are required to develop a scholarship program and to perform service to the Department and University.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
