Position Overview:
We are excited to invite compassionate and dedicated individuals to apply for the role of Child Advocate Aide.
As a Child Advocate Aide, you will be at the forefront of transforming the lives of children facing adversity.

Key
Responsibilities:
Be the voice for children experiencing homelessness, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
Provide care to the Esplanade House children in our childcare co-op while their parents attend required classes.
Collaborate with families, staff, and community partners to create a nurturing and supportive environment for children to thrive.
Plan and execute special events like birthdays, holiday celebrations, etc.
Advocate for children's rights and access to essential services, breaking down barriers and opening doors to brighter opportunities.
Create engaging and enriching activities that inspire creativity, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
Make a meaningful impact through your work, knowing that every smile, every achievement, and every milestone reached is a testament to your dedication and passion.
Qualifications:
Education and/or experience commensurate with an associate degree in early childhood education preferred.
Previous experience working with children and families facing adversity, with a deep understanding of trauma-informed care principles.
Strong communication, empathy, and advocacy skills, with a genuine passion for supporting children's holistic development.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and work as part of a dynamic team.
Commitment to continuous learning and growth, with a desire to make a lasting impact in the lives of children experiencing homelessness.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
