Have fun and love where you work! Job Purpose This person works closely with the executive team to ensure low vacancy rates while building the MWS brand awareness and encouraging and engaging community involvement.
They have a strong understanding of the leasing process and the ability to train and maintain standards.
This individual is a customer service champion who helps build those skills within others on our team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities 1.
Staff Management a.
Oversees day-to-day leasing at all properties i.
Oversees leasing agent's strong understanding and ability to fill all roles at the property.
ii.
Reviews vacancy status and reports to GM with status and plan for available apartments.
iii.
Strong understanding of our market and can forecast changes and adapt to new markets and train and guide accordingly iv.
Covers properties in absences 2.
Administrative a.
Establish and maintain contracted platforms i.
Renew or evaluate need ii.
Facilitate all vendors for leasing purposes b.
Property Comps i.
Complete property comps and meet with every property to review results and get input on any suggested changes c.
Monitor reputation and retention i.
Create strategic direction for reputation and retention ii.
Be creative, think outside the box d.
Order and maintain inventory i.
Any print material for property use ii.
Track expenses as needed 3.
Community a.
Internal i.
Help plan and execute property events for residents ii.
Work with property to build community reputation and retention b.
External i.
Involvement in NVPOA and Chico Chamber ii.
Coordinate Volunteer events for staff 4.
Competences a.
Ability to support a team and create a positive supportive culture b.
Clear communication and desire to collaborate on ideas c.
Customer Service d.
Creative thinking, strategic planning and implementing e.
Good computer knowledge and research abilities f.
Selling knowledge, leasing preferred g.
Enjoys networking and building up brands while utilizing the teams skills Job Type:
