Route Driver - Class C
Delivery and Pick-up:
Delivery and pick-up involves making deliveries and pick-ups in the most efficient, economical manner possible.
Deliver product to and pick up product from specified locations from Chico to Sacramento and back to Chico
Develop and maintain an organized and efficient loading and unloading system
Unload freight according to customer's requests
Verify all items listed on the manifest are loaded and delivered
Skills:
Ability to lift up to 80lbs
Load/Unload freight
Warehouse Experience
Ability to accurately sort and pass work on to meet point drivers
Forklift, pallet jack and hand truck knowledge
Outstanding customer service
Ability to work independently and as a team
Bobtail experience is a must
Must be able to inspect vehicle before and after delivery
Requirements:
Must maintain a valid Class C driver license
Oberve OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations
Must have a clean DMV record
Qualified applications will have to pass Drive Test
Current DOT physical
NIDA drug screen
Thorough background screening
Compensation: Competitive Wages DOE.
