SWITCH N-Type 3.1 Snowboarding Bindings; NEW/demo/display; for sale in Chico, CA
As always, we scored this pair of new, in-the-box SWITCH bindings from the stockroom in a ski/snowboard shop. The box has been opened and the bindings have been displayed/demonstrated , but the bindings are new, never used on the snow, and never previously sold. This is a rare find! HOWEVER, all of the packaging has been opened, and some of the original packaging is missing or destroyed. If you're a SWITCH snowboard/boot interface enthusiast, you know that these were the best snowboard/boot interface ever invented. You also probably know that these have not been manufactured since the clothing conglomerate that owns Lee Jeans bought Vans/Switch and killed this product (due to the high cost of manufacturing this superior quality product in the U.S.A.) The N-Type 3.1 (Standard-N) model is the incredibly durable, no-nonsense workhorse of the SWITCH line. These can literally last for decades. The 3.1 has the advantage of the independent gasket, which makes it replaceable if it cracks or if you want to change it for one of the more flexible silicone versions. These bindings - with SWITCH's "Narrow Boot Interface" is compatible with any SWITCH-compatible boots manufactured after about 1998. (These are probably compatible with 90-95% of the SWITCH system boots that are still being used today.)
